Designer’s House
This project is designer Julia Markos own townhouse. It is located on a quiet street in one of the villages near Moscow. Julia created the interior for herself and her family a long time ago, more than 10 years before, but during this time it has changed dramatically and acquired new details. Today there are three compact floors of bright interior eclecticism. On the third floor there is a bedroom where everything that Julia likes is collected — the bedroom is decorated with French fabrics and engravings, there is also an antique table-study, behind which Julia writes her books by hand and makes sketches for projects. On the second floor there is a library, on the first floor there is a living room — with a large fireplace, which is adjacent to a trophy electric stove brought from Germany, and many other amazing antiques and furniture from Asia and Europe. A special place that is usually inaccessible to city dwellers is the backyard garden, full of greenery, with a spacious dining area entwined with wild grapes.
